Article use in these sentences

Hi. Please tell me if the English articles are needed here.

1. (Describing a routine)

He brings water from wells/the wells everyday.

Then gathers the fruit and put it into boxes.

2. (Describing what he did yesterday)

He brought water from wells/the wells.

Then gathered the fruit and put it into boxes.

(I think if the person who gathers fruit owns a large glove that has many different types of fruit or is a seller of different fruits, it is OK (correct to say/write "Then gathers/gathered the fruits and put them into boxes.")

How about this as instructions? Should it be "the" or "a"?

You are a flight attendant on the/a Seoul-Tokyo flight in the second class cabin. Write what you would say to passengers when you first meet them on board?.
