Article usage in maths question

Hi

I saw the following question in a maths book. I don't understand why there are no articles before 'plasma TV' and 'laptop computer'.

"Total cost of Plasma TV and laptop computer is $2445. If cost of laptop computer is $1889, what is the cost of Plasma TV?"

Thanks,

MG.
