I am confused about article usage in the following instances. Please see if my understanding is correct.
A) 1) He was waiting at the railway station. (here, 'the' preceding train is necessary). 2) He was waiting at Shipley railway station. (here, I am assuming the article 'the' isn't necessary because we're specifically referring to Shipley station).
B) 1) He danced in the moonlight. 2) While the lovers relaxed, moonlight gave them warmth and happiness. (here, I believe we don't need 'the moonlight')
C) I am not referring to (the) gender but to the health of the baby.
Again, is (the) necessary? I am not referring to gender but to.... would it be correct without 'the'?
