Article "the" confused

Hi teachers,

I'm just confused about article 'the" in these sentences.

It will be held at the SMMC convention hall.
The final screening will be at the JD cinema four.

I know these are correct, just please help me how to explain why THE is needed. Or just correct me if I was wrong.
