Article The and Names

Could you give me a good and complete reference about use of "the" with names of buildings, organizations, institutions, places, and etc.

Also the question:

It's known that we do not use the with names of public places and institutions (stations, airports, universities). Other building have the in the names. But how to determine if the building is an important public building. For example:

Frankfurt Airport is an airport and it's an important public building. But what about (the) Weimar Atrium ? It's a big shopping mall, and it's public and important also. What is the criteria ? What's the most important then? Emotion: smile

Anonymous Could you give me a good and complete reference about use of "the" with names of buildings, organizations, institutions, places, and etc. It's difficult to give a complete list because there are differences between British and American English. In British English, for example, we say, "My father was rushed to hospital last night".
