Article or no article: The decade - Decade

Hello there,

I would like to ask you for help. One of my students asked me if I could correct his music band slogan and I am kind of lost. There are these two options:

1. The decade of Pilsner swing

2. Decade of Pilsner swing

Could you let me know whether decade should be written with "the" or without the article?
