1) "Act as a point of contact ...." or "Act as point of contact....", Which one is correct? Why?

2) "Please get me the access of the following folder. " or " Please get me access of the following foler." Which one is correct? Why?

3) When can I omit an article ?

Both question 1 and 2 need articles. e. John loves reading romance novels (in general) John loves the romance novel he borrowed from Mary ( specific) Trees are good for the environment (general) The trees [we’d planted last year] now have grown almost a foot.

Both question 1 and 2 need articles.

When we refer to thing in general, we typically omit articles: i.e.

John loves reading romance novels (in general)

John loves the romance novel he borrowed from Mary ( specific)



Trees are good for the environment (general)
