Article for uncountable

Hello,

Is it okay to use articles for uncountable nouns in some cases? For instance: It was anger alright, but it was an anger that could have destroyed everything.

Or if we have adjectives: It was a righteous anger.

Yes, that works with most uncountable nouns. Note however that some uncountable nouns such as "work" and "progress" cannot be preceded by "a" even if they're modified by an adjective.
