I read the following sentence in the media. I don't understand why there is no 'a' before 'perfect timing'. If I replaced 'perfect timing' with 'a perfect time', the sentence would sound fine. Am I right here?
It was perfect timing to bring up the issue.
Thanks,
MG.
Top answer
timing is uncountable. No 'a'. a perfect time would also work, yes.
