glorification [always U] : the glorification of war
concentration : a need for greater concentration on environmental issues (no article)
cancellation : Heavy seas can cause canellation of ferry services (also no article)

All are example sentences from the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary
glorification : Someone could 'glorify war' many times. 'The' indicates specific things, so I wonder why we say 'the glorification of war'.
