Article before CFO

Hi,

I know that we are not required to use an article before designation words such as CFO, CEO, or President.

I feel however that in some situations the use of article is absolutely necessary. Consider the following example.

Would the sentence sound natural without 'the' before CFO?

1. We are meeting with (the) CFO of the company tomorrow morning.

Thanks.
