The introduction of mobile phones has definitely brought a change in the way we communicate. Most will consider mobile phones to be a great step forward in technological development and a mark of a progressing humanity.
One can easily acknowledge the benefits that mobile phones have brought to modern societies. It is now so much easier for people to stay in touch with members of their families and friends. Parents do not need to worry that much as their children carry this useful device with them. In addition to that, mobile phones have undoubtedly exerted an impact in the way business is conducted.
However, there are inevitably disadvantages of this commonly used device and I would like to mention a few of them.
It appears that many people seem to be somehow addicted to mobile phones. This is particularly true as far as the adolescents are concerned. They seem to be hooked up on their cells all the time. Mobile phone has become a device that many people find difficult to part with. This dependency creates even more dangers with mobiles having fast access to the Internet. This is the obvious negative side. Mobile phones can, in a certain way, lead to depersonalization of a human being. In the case of children they may contribute to developing antisocial behavior We must understand the truth that not every invention or new technology must in fact be beneficial in terms of morality or ethics.
