Article a or the?

Sentence: Kindly give me a/the verified answer.

Question: There can only be one correct answer, right? Likewise there can only be one verified answer. So which article's use will be correct to use here: a or the?

Well, 'verified' does not mean 'correct', but it is possible to have more than one of either, although it is not likely, I agree, I'd choose 'the'.

Well, 'verified' does not mean 'correct', but it is possible to have more than one of either, although it is not likely, I agree, I'd choose 'the'.
