Article

"While touring a brewery, I found my soulmate because of pizza." - there were two different people (a girl and boy) who found themselves because of the same print depicting a pizza.

I have a question. Why did they not include the indefinite article in front of the word "pizza" in the sentence above? Is it because we are not talking about one specific pizza, but we are talking about pizzas in general?
