Hi,
I saw one picture in TOP NOTCH BOOK whose title sounding weird to me.As far as I know definite article "the"is not used with names of places. The title of which was "The Park Museum"although there wasn't any other museum called the same.I wonder why in title "the"was used.Meanwhile, if there is any mistake in the text, I would be grateful to know that.

Thanks in advance

Hi, As far as the use of definite article with movie and book titles, and proper names goes, it is a hit-and-miss kind of thing for most learners. To me, "The Park Museum" is a title, as well as a special place, just like "The White House" and "The Great Wall", therefore, "the' is required. org/wiki/Wikipedia:Naming conventions %28definite_and_indefinite_articles_at_beginning_of_name%29
