Article.

Dear, teachers.

"It sounds like you've been playing harmonica for years."

I thought the name of the musical instrument needed to take an article before it.

but in above sentence "harmonica" doesn't take an article.

I don't know exactly why it doesn't take an article.

could someone help me to solve this problem?
