Arrives vs will arrive

I do not know the time of his arrival.

I have transformed the sentence as fellows:

I do not know what time he arrives/will arrive.

Which verb should I use?

If the arrival is a regulat occurrence, only 'arrives' is possible. If it's a future arrival, then both forms are possible
