Depending on the context the following works fine too.

I would call you after I arrived.

I would call you after I've arrived.

Please tell me if I am wrong.

While these sentences are both correct grammitically, they are also in the conditional.

I will call you is not the same as I would call you.

I Proabably would say something like:

I will call you when I arrive.

I will call you upon my arrival.

I don't think past tense is the correct usage in my opinion.
