'Arrange for' or 'Arrange'

001. The Tourist Bureau has arranged everything for our journey to Rome. 02br
002. I have arranged FOR a car to meet you at the airport. 02br

00I don't quite understand why there is a 'for' in the second sentence. Is it correct for us to write like this: 02br

003. I have arranged a car to meet you at the airport. (maybe have a different meaning from the above sentence) 02br
