Arrange for

I was wondering if we could arrange for the renewal of subscription directly with you.

Is my sentence above OK? What I wanted to express was if we could directly deal with the seller without going through an agent. Does my sentence express this? Please improve. Thank you.

There's no real difference in meaning. you can use either one.

Thank you for that clarification.

If there's no difference in meaning, do you think one is formal and the other is casual?

To my ear, 'arrange for' sounds formal, whereas 'arrange' is casual. I'm not sure, though.
