In this book i have it says that "Dress, posture, vocal tone, gestures, and the
like are tools of rhetoric. They help us persuade. We call these tools ethical
arguments." Isnt that different then what you said? Or are they two parts to the same answer?

Are you sure that you are quoting correctly? Dress and posture are not ethical arguments. They may predispose an audience to listen, but they are certainly not arguments and have nothing to do with ethics.
