Argumentative essay corrections reuqired

Some people say that in all levels of education from primary schools to universities too much time is spent on learning facts and not enough on learning practical skills. Do you agree or disagree

ESSAY:

It is considered by some that educational institutions focus more on theoretical or factual based studies rather than it's practical implementation. In my opinion,I strongly agree to this statement. The main reasons are becuase teachers are not well trained and academic institutions facing issues such as lack of resources and public relations.

Firstly,mostly teachers in all phases of education either it is for primary,secondary or tertiary are not hired as per the requirement. Their academic background or majoring subjects do not match with the subject that needs to be taught. Many academic institution tends to appoint teachers who are asking for low salaries and ignoring their background relevancy. Take the example of one of my friend's who has done his post graduation in computers and school management asks him to teach science because of his low salary demand. Thus, these kind of teachers are not well trained enough to clear the concepts of students and they try to convey with the aid of whats written in academic books or websites. This inappropriate way of teaching may cause lack of interest among the students , so they donot want to strive for it's implementation practically.

Moreover, there is another reason of lack of resources which cannot be ignored. Educational managements are flawing in public relations with organizations,factories,service sectors or media in order to get the students exposed to what's going on in today's world, according to their subject relevancy. For instance, when I was performing a thesis on composites with my group members, my university could not able us to contact the composite factory in order to get our ideas clear on how composites are manufactured. Thus, we faced difficulty in understanding its basic concept and practical application.

In conclusion, flaws in way of teaching, inadequate resource and relationship management can become hindrance in practical studies. In my opinion,I agree that education sectors are not focussing on both the theory and its practical implementation. It should be mandatory and educational institution must focus on both.
