"Aren't" usage

is "aren't you" sarcastic? For instance: "You are performing your prescribed physical workouts everyday? Aren't you?"

Are question tages used with sarcastic intentions?

Thanks!

Tags can be used with MANY intentions. Sarcasm could be one of them. Usually it's just to confirm something you already believe.

Hi GG,

Thanks for the reply! One more quick question: are tag questions more common in AmE than question tags?

You use a question tag to form a tag question. Can't have one without the other.
