Aren't there any errors

Dear folks,

I seem to be unable to figure out the following sentence possibly

because of what I would say some grammatical or structural error

hidden in it.

Or does the sentence have no problem, making sense to any

native English speakers?

Trump also told Holt that just because he fired Comey doesn't mean he doesn't want to get to the bottom of Russian meddling in the election.

Kindly teach me, please. Thank you.

Ray

It has an informal feel, but it is acceptable in everyday English.

The pattern is "just because X doesn't mean Y", which means that X does not imply Y (according to the writer). I.e., the fact that he fired Comey doesn't mean that he doesn't want to get to the bottom of Russian meddling in the election.
