Speech & Pronunciation

Aren't?

Hi anyone help me?
It's about pronunciation of "aren't."

My Belgian teacher pronounces like "ar rent."

But I think it should be like "arnt."

Am I correct?

fcsaravana Am I correct? For people with rhotic accents, yes. For people with non-rhotic accents it is "ahnt" (for me, the same pronunciation as the word "aunt").
