situation:

Someone asks me 'Are you interested in organizing ...', and I want to refuse in a polite way; what should I say in natural English?:

?? I appreciate the invitation/asking, but I am not interested??

OttoJ I appreciate the invitation but I am not interested It is still a little abrupt, but it will serve. Adding 'sorry' at the beginning or end will make it more polite.

It is still a little abrupt, but it will serve. Adding 'sorry' at the beginning or end will make it more polite.
