Are you directing me?

Hi,

A toddler wanted to arrange activities for his Daddy. "Daddy, you do the dishes after eating."

Daddy replied:
"Don't instruct me!"
"Don't direct me!"

Which one is proper?

Are there other good expressions suitable for this context?
Does "leave me alone" fit this context?
Thanks

I was going to suggest "Don't tell me what to do," but you would probably not appreciate it when your toddler says the same thing to you another time.
