Are you being served, mam?

Hi,

(1) What other similar expressions/cliches (shop assistant to customer) are in use in modern spoken English?

(2)"Are you being attended to, mam?"
This one must be VERY formal/old-fashioned?

thank you!

I used to work in sales on the floor. The expression used there: ya bin helpt? Of course, it is a reduced form of "have you been helped".

If I would work at McDonald's cash register, I would say "melp ya" for "May I help you"
