Are you always so hard to get rid of?

A young man with a lot of problems is seeing a psychologist. Once he doesn't show up to their appointment. The psychologist seeks out the young man at his home address. The young man is not happy to see him and says:

Young man: Are you always so hard to get rid of?

Psychologist: No.

Young man: So why me?

Psychologist: Because I think I can help you.

Is the bold-face dialog question grammatical and natural here? And could I add "for your clients" to it?
