Also, it's very important to know how to investigate a leak, and how to prevent it from causing severe damage to the building.
2.Accident investigation: It's important to know how to investigate accident in the workplace. Failure to follow the accident procedures will cost the business a lot of money. I have investigated accident at work, and I am still doing in my current role.
3.IOSH Managing safety: I have completed the course, and it is very important qualification to have especially when you are managing people. I carried out a few risk assessments for various tasks in my building. There were detailed and covered all aspects of the tasks. The contractors understood and used them without any problems. I believe managing safety is one of the key components in the looking after a building. The facilities assistant must know about the hazards in the building and find a way to reduce them in the building.
