It's correct as it is (your version is fine too, though). It would seem comfortable is one of the very few adjectives that license gerund-participial complements.

Feared of blood or not, usually people don't want to see it because it is a sign of bad things. So the word "comfortable " is sort of strange used in this question. I would just say: Are you hemophobic ?
