Are vs. Were vs. Have Been

A. My past accomplishments are the result of my hard work and are proof of what I can contribute to your organisation.

B. My past accomplishments were the result of my hard work and are proof of what I can contribute to your organisation.

C. My past accomplishments have been the result of my hard work and are proof of what I can contribute to your organisation.

1. Could you please tell me what the difference is in meaning among using 'are', 'were', and 'have been' in the context above?

2. Which statement do you suggest is correct and best spoken?

In B with 'were', does the speaker simply view the accomplishments as something that resulted from his effort made in the past? If any, how else could this be interpreted?

In A and C, I honestly don't know how they are different in meaning from the view of the speaker at the moment of speaking. Please help, thanks.
