"Are to be exported" vs "are exported"

Hi there,

is there any difference in meaning when I say:

"Configure which results are to be exported to the database" or

"Configure which results are exported to the database"?

Can I use both? Is one of them more correct than the other and why?

Thank you in advance Emotion: smile
