I'm not an electrical engineer, so I may have misunderstood this. Is this what you are describing?

Thank you for your reply. I meant that the connection sometimes work and the other times doesn't work.

Intermittent, sporadic and random have similar meanings, and it is sometimes possible to replace one with another.
Intermittent is usually found in contexts where something is "on again, off again", sometimes works (or happens) and sometimes doesn't. "An intermittent electrical fault."
Sporadic is often (but not always) found in contexts where something occurs on different occasions in different locations.
"Sporadic protests." "Sporadic power outages."
Random may sometimes replace the other two, but is always the one to pick to describe a set of different things, such as numbers, colors, etc. "The artist daubed random colors on the canvas." Random may suggest that there is no understanding of the reason for something happening. "Random violence."
