Are they titles?

Hi. Please help. Can they be titles to a person that are to be written as appositives after a person's name?

mother of John Doe
founder of such and such a company
spiritual leader of such and such a company

For example, could we write this? For the example sentence below, a name is to be inserted in parentheses. Thank you in advance for your help.

(name), mother of John Doe, will visit us soon.
