Are they (of) the same price

Hi there, I am not really sure if it is possible to say it like this. Could you help me please ?

Me: Are they (of) the same price
So.: No they are 1 pound each.

It would be very stilted and old-fashioned, though not wrong, to include the 'of'. I strongly recommend against it. CJ
