Hi They are similar ... Flabbergasted - I am totally surprised by something I don't usually see or hear Astonished - I have to stop for a moment and think about that - it's astonishing Stunned - "You have a stunning dress" - not sure about that - I don't think anyone says that nowadays Confounded - a good old-fashioned word for when you are given a question that you can't answer Dave
