Are they different?

Hello,

I wonder if 1/ is different from 2/

1/ For by him were all things created

2/ all things were created by him

(source: Colossians 1:16-17 - KJV:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.)

It seems to me that,

(1) = Nature-Creature is created by God, and reflects the perfect image of God

(2) = Nature-Creature is created by God

Please let me know if I am wrong. Thank you for your help!

Ignoring the "for" in the first one, they are identical in meaning. The King James Version of the Bible was written in a deliberately antiquated style even for its day. Word order was much more flexible in the old days than it is now.
