This is an excellent opportunity to study a dictionary. I just did, and it's fascinating. For instance, I'd always thought that "doable" was a modern word, but the OED has citations for it back to Middle English.

'doable' is a lower register word. 'feasible' is a higher register word.

(lower register ~ everyday, ordinary; higher register ~ more formal)
