Are these two sentences properly worded?
FYI- Derek is the Rose Knight. Only when Derek, in his madness, ordered the Solamnic forces to leave the safety of the Tower and attack the Blue Dragonarmy did Alfred finally stand up to him. Alfred tried to convince Derek that launching an assault would be a mistake, but the Rose Knight would not be swayed.
