Are these two sentences grammatically correct?

'Spurs is the only team from which I don't like any player.'

'I don't understand a single word that has been taught in Physics so far.'

You might also hear (in the U.K.)

'Spurs are the only team from which I don't like any player.'

Are is often used after sports teams in the U.K. as they are often treated as plural nouns.

E.g.

Manchester United are the most famous team on the planet.

Chelsea are top of the league.
