Most of the elven army agreed to follow Porthios in his liberation of Qualinesti alongside Alhana and Samar, while the civilians decided to remain in the valley with Gilthas and Kerianseray. The Army of Liberation left the valley shortly thereafter and marched overland to the New Sea, where they hired ships to transport them to Qualinesti.
