Are these two sentences correctly worded?

In 1018 PC, Magius found himself fleeing from the minions of Dracos in Solamnia, where he encountered his old friend Huma, whom he used as a decoy in order to escape the dreadwolves pursuing him. Magius later appeared again to Huma and his comrade, the minotaur Kaziganthi de-Orilg, leading them both to the safety of his citadel, located in a secluded grove in the lands of Ergoth

Thanks for your help. Magius actually encountered Huma while he was fleeing, so should I have it be "in Solamnia, and encountered his old friend..."?
