I'm not familiar with this term, but I found the following attempt at a definition.Have a look at the link, as it includes examples and other information.

In my judgement, your two sentences don't seem to fit this definition.

The first could be classed at metalepsis but I think the second is direct enough to simply be metaphor. The second relies only on the premise of 'whatever liquid is being drunk' = death.
