Are these subordinate clauses?

I need to know what kind of phrases "what you know" in "Tell me what you know" and "how this could be achieved" in "They made him see how this could be achieved." are. I suspect the latter is an adverbial clause but "what" in the former is not a adverb and not a relative pronoun right?
