Are these statements on naming a publication really fine in terms of grammar?

Are these statements on naming a publication really fine in terms of grammar? Thank you.
  • • The name of a publication gives its identity. It portrays not only the goal of the newspaper but also the vision of the publishing house itself. Hence, it must be catchy and meaningful as well.
  • • There are some circumstances that could explain why a newspaper must be renamed.
  • • Our publication has been given different names.
  • • Our publication was named Green in the 90’s. Its name was changed into The Hope in 1998 and simplified into Hope in the early 2000’s. Later, it was renamed Vision of Hope. The current name is The Visionary.
  • • A herald can be a person who delivers messages from the king to his people.
  • • The central point in almost every activity undertaken by the university to inculcate values is the human person, not anything else.
  • • In my opinion, The Visionary is the most appropriate name for the publication compared to the previous names.
  • • Our publication does not brings news to gain popularity, but it does broadcast the Good News for our salvation to proclaim the truth. Besides reporting occurrences in the society, it reveals the viewpoints of the Church and of the university on different social issues.
