Are these sentences worded properly?

FYI- Jeggred is the draegloth and Ryld is the drow warrior. Using her new ring and the portals, Danifae took Jeggred to the surface with her to confront Ryld and Halisstra. In a large swamp, Jeggred and Ryld engaged in a lengthy fight in which the draegloth determinedly pursued the drow warrior even after being interrupted by many local beasts and a group of human loggers. The chaotic duel ultimately concluded with Jeggred killing Ryld and eating his heart in triumph.
