I think Maple was asking whether the following sentence is standard English and the sentence seems ot has something about English study. Do you think your sentence with the word "English" properly conveys the intended meaning. Should it not be like this?
You'd better go and talk to your teacher about your study in English/English class.
'. . . talk . . . about your study . . .' is not a natural-sounding expression. It'd be more natural to use the word in the plural ('He enjoys his English studies').
It seems more likely to me that you'd just talk to your teacher about the subject, eg Biology. Perhaps it's because any talk with your teac
