Are these sentences propely worded?

In 386 AC, a small party, led by the hero Riverwind, journeyed to Malystryx’s lair at Blood Watch and destroyed her egg, killing the dragon’s unborn child. Gathering an army of ogres under her command, Malystryx completely destroyed Kendermore in her rage, killing Riverwind and thousands of kender.
