Are these sentences natural? September 22

Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. They did almost everything short of punching each other.

2. Further, I had requested them to cancel the card, as I didn’t need it any more.

3. Can you do such that the upper right corner of the picture is not visible?

Thanks,

MG.

Hi MG

One and two are fine.

Three, however, needs some work and no matter what you do to it, it's going to remain pretty informal.

"Can you make it so that the upper right corner ..."

"Can you adjust it so that the upper right corner ..."

"Can you fix it so that the upper right corner ..."

"Can you make the upper right corner disappear ..."
